State Plan for Suicide Prevention
In 2000, an ad hoc group of citizens, as ordered by the legislature and directed by the Minnesota Department of Health, unveiled the MN State Plan for Suicide Prevention. This document outlines evidence based strategies and objectives for addressing suicide prevention across the lifespan in our state. It has undergone ongoing review and input from citizens across the state to stay current and applicable to the needs of our population, as well as to remain in keeping with current research and evidence base knowledge.
